Egyptian Underground Hip-Hop Colelctive Gorilla Clan Release Scathing New Track ‘Jihad’

Egyptian underground hip-hop label and super group Gorilla Clan (which includes rappers Adham Abdelgeleil [co-founder], Hook, Hagez, Momo Scharaf, Hwarh Eldagher) don’t hold back in new track featuring Hook, Adham and Afroto. The Alexandria-based group showcase underground up-and-coming rappers and fusing their sound with different genres. ‘Jihad’ doesn’t hold back, and features a dynamic, aggressive beat which the rappers powerfully dominate seemingly effortlessly.

The track discusses baseless criticisms and the general theme of dissing other rappers in the game instead of focusing on one’s own music. The track talks about competition within the game, rare releases and throwing shade without having anything credible to fall back on. The rappers – who boast incredible flow -  discuss their dedication to rap in the face of the wannabe-trend-setting haters who do nothing substantial.
