After a five-year hiatus, the famed American-Sudanese group Alsarah & The Nubatones will be touching down in Cairo as part of their brand new album 'Seasons of the Road' world tour.

After a five-year hiatus, the acclaimed Sudanese band Alsarah & The Nubatones are coming back to perform live at Cairo Jazz Club 610 on July 16th.
Fronted by singer-songwriter Alsarah, the Brooklyn-based outfit is known for reimagining Sudanese musical traditions through an East-African retro-pop lens, often incorporating elements of Nubian music, funk and hip-hop to explore themes of migration and diaspora.
Now, the group will be touching down at CJC 610 to premiere their brand-new album ‘Seasons of the Road’, as part of their world tour.
The night will also feature Sudanese singer-songwriter Hiba Elgizouli as the opening act for the band with her smooth blend of R&B, soul and Sudanese influences. To get your tickets, head to Cairo Jazz Club’s official website.
