Transporting us back to the carefree nights of Coachella and channeling the enchanting essence of 70s rockstar Stevie Nicks, SAR, the Lebanese-Syrian fashion brand, invites us to embrace a new era with their meticulously hand-painted boho-chic kimonos. Evoking the spirit of summer festivals, these captivating pieces seamlessly blend artistry and fashion, offering a style that is simultaneously timeless and contemporary.

Born out of founder Sarine Semerjian's artistic vision, SAR embodies her profound fascination with kimonos and deep connection with nature, ignited by the overwhelming support her garments garnered at Lebanon's esteemed Aegis Festival. "It represents a harmonious fusion of art, fashion, and boundless passion, encapsulated within timeless garments meticulously crafted to adorn your inner spirit," Semerjian tells SceneStyled.

Integrating a myriad of influences into her designs, Sarine treats each garment as her vibrant canvas. With love, care, and a touch of magic, her brush effortlessly sweeps celestial motifs across the linen fabric, intertwining rich colors, intricate patterns, and graceful, flowing silhouettes. By weaving together elements of art, fashion, and nature, SAR transcends conventional fashion barriers, forging profound connections with its audience through wearable pieces of art that narrate enchanting stories.

The allure of SAR's creations was recently epitomized when Syrian superstar Assala adorned a custom-made Gaia Kimono during her mesmerizing live performance at Egypt's Lac Du Caire. "Working closely together, we infused her distinctive style and personal preferences into the design. It is a profound moment of validation and a testament to the power of art to connect and inspire," Semerjian shares.

The Gaia kimono - as seen on the soulful singer - belongs to SAR's inaugural collection, Khamsa, which draws inspiration from the five elements of spirituality: Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Ether. The collaboration between SAR's founder and Assala's son, Khaled Zahabi, gave rise to a garment that captures the essence of Assala's character and spirit.
