Volume, volume, volume; the photoshoot shows off the power of a woman in stark contrast to the harshness of cold technology.

Lebanese designer Saiid Kobeisy throws open the doors to a world of audacious femininity with his Spring/Summer 2024 Couture Collection. A vibrant symphony of colours set the stage for opulent fabrics that danced across the runway during the collection reveal, each piece an ode to dynamism and the power of womanhood.

Regal opulence reigns supreme in timeless white and gold, while other creations embrace a delicate balance of grace and grandeur and 3D-layered organza. Lavish textures and embellishments take centre stage, inviting the wearer into a realm of exquisite femininity. From the voluminous, off-shoulder sleeves that frame a bodice in an ode to everlasting elegance, to the mesmerising interplay of light created by a cascade of gold and silver crystals, each piece shows the designer's attention to detail and thoughtful intention.

After the stellar runway show, Kobeisy opted for another direction when it came to his photoshoot of the collection: a robotic, high-tech aesthetic. The femininity of the designs juxtaposes with the harsh contrast of silver and metallic machine-like structures. The photoshoot showcases the collection's delicate fabrics and flowing gowns against a backdrop of gleaming chrome and industrial sets. The model, adorned in the label's signature volume and red taffeta, interacted with robotic arms and futuristic lighting, creating a tension between the ethereal beauty of the dresses and the starkness of the technological world.
