SeaWorld Abu Dhabi Launches SeaSub Submersible Experience
The world’s first aquarium-certified submersible is now open to visitors at SeaWorld Yas Island.

Visitors to SeaWorld Abu Dhabi can now dive into the heart of the region’s largest aquarium—literally. The marine park has introduced the SeaSub, a custom-built submersible that takes guests more than 20 metres below the surface for a guided underwater ride.
Touted as the first of its kind to be certified for use inside an aquarium, the SeaSub accommodates four passengers and two trained pilots, offering a 30-minute journey past sharks, rays, and schools of fish in close proximity.
The new submersible joins a growing list of water-based activities at SeaWorld Yas Island. These include guided scuba sessions and kayaking through the park’s Tropical Lagoon. But the SeaSub stands out for letting visitors remain dry while getting an unusually intimate look at marine life in motion.
With limited capacity and rising demand, bookings for the SeaSub are strongly encouraged in advance. Whether you’re a marine life enthusiast or just curious about life below the surface, this new addition to the park offers an unusual—and dry—way to get close to the deep.
