Lebanese House and Techno Duo Pomme Rouge Release New Track ‘Not a Gizzmo’
Two thirds of Lebanese outfit, Gizzmo, make it loud and clear that their new project, Pomme Rouge, is not Gizzmo, with new track ‘Not a Gizzmo’.
What started off as a side project by two of the three members of Gizzmo is now officially standing on its own two feet (or four, technically), with Pomme Rouge’s new release, ‘Not a Gizzmo’.
Available exclusively on Beatport (and then on other platforms on April 30th), the Beirut-based duo of Joy Moughanni and Alex Chahine move away from Gizzmo’s electrofunk sound and find a comfy spot between house and techno with a bass-driven beat.

The track, which is the debut release of label, Digger’s Delights, sees the band experiment with an almost acid sound accompanied by a consistent shuffling hi-hat, making it loud and clear they are, in the spirit of the track’s name, 100% not Gizzmo.
