Egyptian DJs Go Head-to-Head in Red Bull ‘Turn It Up’ Battle Sep 19th

On September 19th, Red Bull is putting four Egyptian DJs to the test in its new battle series ‘Turn It Up’. Taking place at Cairo Jazz Club 610, The competition will feature three rounds, surprise themes picked by the MCs, and just a few minutes for each DJ to pull together their sharpest mix on the spot, with the crowd deciding who stays standing.

Battling on the night are Cairo veterans Ramy DJunkie and DJ Fat Sam, as well as Nedz and Female DJ Khaled. Each selector will dig deep into their crates to win over the floor, bringing their own arsenal of mixing styles and tricks across a wide range of genres, from house and hip-hop to bass-heavy curveballs and amapiano cuts. The winner will close the night with an hour-long headlining set, showing off what they can really do once the pressure is off.
