Marwan Pablo Makes Acting Debut in Star-Studded Film ‘Egy Best’

Egyptian rap superstar Marwan Pablo is set to make his acting debut in ‘Egy Best’, an upcoming Egyptian film that dives headfirst into the murky world of online film piracy.

Directed by prolific filmmaker Marwan Abdelmoniem and written by Ahmed Hosny, the film explores how websites like EgyBest have redefined the way people access and pirate cinema in the digital age, highlighting the ethical grey areas of unauthorized streaming and distribution of copyrighted material and the cultural impact of bootleg media consumption.   

Pablo will be sharing the silver screen with a star-studded cast ensemble, including Ahmed Malek and Salma Abu Deif. ‘Egy Best’ will also see Malek and Abu Deif reuniting for the first time since the 2017 critically acclaimed film, ‘El Sheikh Jackson’.
