Shanti Celeste to Make Cairo Debut on January 17th

Chilean-born, Bristol-based DJ and label owner Shanti Celeste is set to make her Cairo debut at the Geeza Records and Red Bull Winter Vibes party at ZED Park, Sheikh Zayed, on January 17th.

Shanti has quickly established herself as a force to be reckoned with in Europe’s electronic dance landscape, with her contemporary UK take on classic Motor City sound and distinct approach to production. Her sets are characterized by a vivacious bounce, swing and an uplifting lilt, mixing various genres from playful house and raw techno to electro and ambient –a sound that led her to become a fixture in some of the world’s top festivals, including Dekmantel and Glastonbury. Beyond DJing, she runs the Club Celeste event series and Peah Discs record label.

She will be joined by a hefty lineup of seasoned Egyptian selectors, such as AKI, Aroussi, Hisham Zahran, and SOS, along with an eclectic b2b from Yellow Tape Records’ Hazem and Seif.
