Riyadh Fashion Week Announces Second Edition & Richer Program

This edition will feature 28 runway shows and 38 designers, a significant leap from last year’s 16 shows with 30 designers.

Riyadh Fashion Week (RFW) is set to launch its second edition from October 17 to 21, 2024, in the nation’s capital, Riyadh. Building on the success of its inaugural event, this year’s RFW promises an expanded, vibrant program featuring a diverse lineup of designers and runway shows, organized by the Fashion Commission.

“This year’s event not only builds on the success of our inaugural edition but also takes a bold step forward,” Burak Cakmak, CEO of the Fashion Commission, tells Scene Styled. “By bringing together a diverse array of brands, we are creating a platform for meaningful cultural exchange and collaboration that highlights the richness of Saudi talent and its impact on the global stage.”

This edition will feature 28 runway shows and 38 designers, a significant leap from last year’s 16 shows with 30 designers, marking the event's rapid growth. RFW 2024 will showcase a range of couture, evening wear, ready-to-wear, and streetwear, alongside citywide events and a showroom dedicated to homegrown brands.

With over 35 Saudi fashion houses participating, the event aims to foster cross-cultural exchange and innovation. This year's designer lineup includes 1886, Abadia, Adnan Akbar, Aram, Ashwaq Al Marshad, Atelier Hekayat, Awaken, Dar Alhanouf, Eman Joharjy, Fatima Alabdulqader, Freeminds, Hajruss, Hala Algharbawi, Hindamme, Honayda, House of Cenmar, Jubb, Kaf by Kaf, Khawla Alaiban, KML, Makram Marzuki, Mazrood, MD29, Mona Alshebil, Noble & Fresh, Nour Aldhahri, Noura Sulaiman, Pavone, Qormuz, Razan Alazzouni, RBA, Tima Abid, Waad Aloqaili, and Yahya Albishri.
