Friday Sermon at the Grand Mosque to Be Translated Into 11 Languages
The initiative aims to make Jumaa prayers accessible to speakers of different languages around the world.

The General Authority for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has announced that the Friday sermon for the first Jumaa of Ramadan will be translated into 11 languages for the first time.
Listeners will be able to follow the sermon in English, French, Urdu, Persian, Malay, Turkish, Chinese, Bengali, Hausa, Russian and Indonesian. This development underscores the Authority's commitment to leveraging modern technology to disseminate Islam's message of moderation and tolerance globally. By providing real-time translations, the initiative ensures that worshippers from diverse linguistic backgrounds can fully participate in the spiritual experience of the Friday sermons.
These will be broadcast through the Manarat Al-Haramain platform, which also offers additional services such as religious lessons, digital lectures, live feeds from Al-Haramain Al-Sharifain, and coverage of significant events like the Day of Arafat. The platform further features video essays by esteemed Imams on various Islamic subjects.
