Arab Artists to Perform at Brian Eno’s Palestine Benefit Concert

The lineup for British art-rock legend Brian Eno’s ‘Together for Palestine’ benefit concert has just got even bigger. Set to take place at London’s OVO Arena Wembley tomorrow, September 17th, the bill now features a star-studded roster of Arab artists such as Elyanna, Saint Levant, Lana Lubany, El Far3i and Sama’ Abdulhadi. They will be joining the already announced regional acts Faraj Suleiman, Nai Barghouti and Yasmeen Ayyashi.

Framed as one of the largest-scale benefit concerts for Palestine yet, the show will also feature a series of live performances from global heavyweights like Jamie xx, James Blake, Damon Albarn, Greentea Peng, Bastille, Hot Chip, and Obongjayar, with special appearances from PinkPantheress, Riz Ahmed and Rina Sawayama.

Brian Eno helms the concert as executive producer, joined by Khaled Ziada, founder and director of the London Palestine Film Festival, Tracey Seawar, the producer behind the 2012 London Olympic opening ceremony, and British actor and activist Khaled Abdalla.

The production design of the event is helmed by Olivier and Tony award-winning British stage designer Es Devlin, who is known for designing massive shows for pop icons like Beyoncé, The Weekend and Lady Gaga. The show will raise funds for the British charity, Choose Love, with all proceeds directed towards Palestinian-led organisations, providing food, commodities and medical supplies for Palestinians in Gaza.

Although the event is now sold out, it will be streamed live online at 7PM tomorrow. You can sign up on togetherforpalestine.org to receive the streaming link.
