Saudia Launches Flights from Riyadh & Jeddah to Vienna & Athens
Riyadh-Vienna flights launch June 2025, with Jeddah-Athens flights starting at the same time.

Saudia, the national carrier of Saudi Arabia, has launched new seasonal flights from Jeddah and Riyadh to two iconic European capitals—Athens and Vienna.
The airline is currently operating three weekly flights between Jeddah and Vienna with Airbus A320 aircraft and plans to extend this service to Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport starting in June 2025.
Additionally, Saudia inaugurated seasonal flights from Riyadh to Athens on April 2nd, 2024, with Jeddah-Athens flights scheduled to begin in June 2025.
These new routes are part of Saudia’s broader expansion strategy, which includes introducing 11 new destinations this year, including Venice, Malaga, and Bali.
