‘Seeking Haven for Mr. Rambo’ to Screen at Cairo Opera House
After the screening, film critic Marwan Emara will join producer Rasha Hosny for a discussion on the film.

Critically acclaimed Egyptian film ‘Seeking Haven for Mr. Rambo’ will be screened at the Cairo Opera House on April 30th at 7:00 PM in the Small Theatre for Nady Al-Cinema. Following the screening, Egyptian film critic Marwan Emara will host a discussion with producer Rasha Hosny, delving deeper into the film. ‘Seeking Haven for Mr. Rambo’ is directed by Khaled Mansour, and represents his debut feature following a career in short films. The movie follows the journey of a young man facing his past and fears as he sets out on a mission to rescue his beloved dog from an uncertain future. The film’s cast features Essam Omar, Rakin Saad, Sama Ibrahim and Ahmed Bahaa, who is also the co-founder of popular Egyptian band Sharmoofers. The screening is free and open to the public, with seats available on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors will open at 6:00 PM, and entry is restricted to individuals aged 12 and above.
