Dubai-based Alternative Rock Band Vandalye Release Catchy New Track ‘Little Piggy’
The track treads rock, folk and even some 80's synth pop. Oink, oink.
Call them indie, call them alt-rock, call them folk-rock. Dubai-based band, Vandalye, take a little inspiration from all of the genres they’ve been boxed into over the years for their new single, ‘Little Piggy’.
The self-produced single is driven by a sumptuously retro synth-bass line straight out of an 80s synthwave song, while lead singer Scott Attew’s vocals drip with attitude in a track that’s miles away from the three-piece band’s previous single, the soft and melancholic folk song, ‘Carry Me Home’.

Since first emerging on the scene in 2015, Vandalye have been one of the most popular and consistent acts on the Dubai scene, with 2019 a particularly fruitful year during which they released their second album, Cigarettes & Minarets, as well as four singles. They’ve also opened for the likes of Elton John, Lionel Richie and Snow Patrol, and boast their share of awards nominations.
